Engine 41 is a 2009 HME / Ferrara Intruder 2 1500 GPM Rescue Pumper. It has a 1000 Gallon water tank, 6 man cab, EMS equipment, and carries hydraulic extrication tools. It is the first due engine for all structure fires, and motor vehicle accidents.
Engine 42 is a 2009 Ferrara Intruder 2 1500 GPM Rescue Pumper. It has a 1000 Gallon water tank, 5 man cab, and acts as a second-due engine by carrying a large supply of 5" hose.
Engine 43 is a 1988 S&S 500 GPM Pumper/Tanker. The truck carries 2000 gallons of water in its elliptical tank. This unit was oringinally lime green, and was repainted in 2005 to match the rest of the PFD fleet.
Attack 45 is a 2000 E-One Jackrabbit Mini-Pumper. The unit carries 300 gallons of water and has a 30 gallon foam tank. This versatile apparatus is utilized as first response truck for all medical calls and is also used as a command vehicle and brush fire truck.
Brush 46 is a 1994 Chevrolet brush fire truck. The truck chassis was donated by Hoosier Energy and the department added the Knapahide utiliy bed and the Darley skid unit. It carries brush fire fighting equipment.
